It's not color, but quality that counts.
When we started our Ethnic dolls store, Addie and I had to discuss a very sensitive topic: Skin Color.
Like what color skin on a doll is 'Black' we wondered? We had an even harder time with the Biracial and Mixed Kids dolls. How could we, as the doll sellers, describe to you, the children's parents, what color was what when it came to describing these dolls?
All these years later we've learned it doesn't much matter. Believe it or not, we have never ever gotten a doll back because of it's 'color.'
Softness, safety, brand, whether it has hair, whether it has sleeping eyes or not, and especially size...we get more questions on that than we do on color.
So if it's not 'color' anymore, then what is it? It's quality... the one thing parents almost never ask us about. Is there a difference? Some. In most cases there isn't really a big difference from one doll to another. But when it comes to Calin Marie, there is. Calin Marie is one of the best made and highest quality dolls we offer.
Quality... the perfect word to describe Calin Marie!

Customer Reviews
Dolls for My FamilyDear Pattycake Dolls,
I ordered a little baby doll for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She was so happy because the doll looks a lot like her. My children and grandchildren are biracial and it was impossible to find biracial dolls 40 years ago. My daughter Kelly, who will be 40 in December, asked why they didn't make little brown dolls like her? Well now we know there is wonderful company like Pattycake Dolls that make dolls for all little girls. Qudos to you.
