Yes there are 'Green' toy companies
When I was a little kid, I loved the idea that my small contributions (I think it was a dime then), could plant a whole big tree. (I hadn't quite learned yet that I was contributing a seedling, not the full grown tree! ☺)
But Addie and I have also learned over the years, that customers don't buy toys because they're 'Green.' If it's something they like, and also 'Green,' well, then they're glad to get it for their children. But it has to be a great toy first. On the other hand, we do get a lot of requests for from customers with environmental concerns, who are looking for toys with organic or sustainable features.
Willow is a great toy. She's a super soft, large (12 inches), stuffed elephant and a great cuddle toy for your youngsters. Made partly of sustainable soy fibers, with a recycled cardboard product tag, Willow has a great environmental message for the kids.
And from what we've learned, kids today are just as excited about planting trees as I was! Kids want to know how! How do you get a toy, and plant a tree?
PS: As part of the Greenzys line-up, part of your purchase will go towards planting trees in one of our nation's forests by The Arbor Day Foundation. Additionally, a portion from each purchase will benefit the Environmental Media Association. So, great toy, Green toy, good causes!
