OK, let's start right with the price, since that's the first thing everybody mentions to us right off. Yes it seems a lot for what's basically a 'plastic toy.'
Here's why: the doll's walker is basically a 'custom item.' How many do you think are sold worldwide? A hundred? A thousand? These are not churned out by the gazillion and mass merchanted at the big box stores. There is no "efficiency of mass production." They come from one source, and as they are expensive to make in small batches, we need to charge this price to make it worth it for the factory to keep up production.
