What we like about the Lamaze Learn to Dress activity toys, is they function just as well as a toddler's soft carry toy as they do for a 'starter' learn to dress doll. And the one feature they have that none of our other teach to dress dolls is that they have 'the finger friendly satin strips... on Farmer Fred it's the 'hay stalk' he's chewing on, Cowgirl Carly it's the 'trim' on her fancy Cowgirl Boots.
We also like the bright colors and wild patterns, and finally, we love the fact that we can offer them as a matched set, for those who need Brother and Sister Dolls, or want boy and girl dolls for pre-k or kindegarten dolls. (Although technically Farmer Fred is a Bull, and Carly is a Cowgirl... they still look like a set to us!)
Both have five dress learn-to-dress activities: Button, buckle, zipper, hook/loop fastener and laces.
PS: While this is a great soft toy for 18 months, the learn to dress activities are for more advanced children; at 18 months they will be too challenging.
